Vibrant color of intense purplish red. This fruity nose with aromas of wild blackberries, reveals notes of caffeine, pepper and clove after aeration. In the mouth this wine releases a profusion of fruits and gives the impression of crunching a grape grain. The tannins are tight, with a good hold. This sulfite-free wine offers a very successful retourn to sources.
WINE PAIRING :
Lamb roast with seasonal vegetables in olive oil.
Serve at 16 degrees.
WINEGROWING AND WINEMAKING :
Planted in 1993, the Mourvedre is cultived in « lyre » on 2 hectares. Harvested manually at night, destemmed and fermented in whole berry with natural yeast and without sulfites. Maturing for 6 months in stainless steel tank.
